First Day Checklist

To help your child feel comfortable and prepared, please bring the following items on their first day. These essentials ensure your child can fully participate in classroom activities, stay cozy during rest times, and remain comfortable throughout the day:

Closed-toed indoor shoes

Protects little feet during play and keeps classrooms clean and dry.

Extra set of clothes in a Ziplock bag

For unexpected spills or accidents, ensuring your child stays fresh and happy.

Blanket for nap time

A familiar blanket provides warmth and comfort for a restful break.

Weather-appropriate outdoor wear

Jackets, hats, mittens, or sunscreen help your child enjoy outdoor play in any season.

Diapers (if applicable)

Pack enough for the day, along with wipes if needed.

Pacifier (if needed)

Clearly labeled to ensure it’s always returned to your child.

Safe, Simple, and Organized Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Arrival and Departure

Arrival Procedure

  • Parents pull up to the designated pick-up/drop-off spot in front of the building.
  • Walk your child to the classroom door and sign them in using the provided binder.
  • Teachers will also sign your child in on the classroom roster and help them put belongings away.
  • Drop-off time: 5:30 AM – 9:30 AM

Departure Procedure

  • Pick-up time: 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM daily.
  • If you need to pick up your child earlier, please email administration at least 2 hours in advance.
  • Upon arrival:
    - Sign your child out
    - Collect all belongings (nap items, artwork, personal items).

Pick-Up Authorization

  • Only those authorized on your child’s pick-up list may pick up your child.
  • If someone else is picking up, you must provide a written note authorizing the change before pick-up time.
